Vincent Marolf
DVM, Dr. med. vet., Dipl. ECVAA, PhD — Leads the French-speaking VASTA school
Vincent Marolf is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (since 2015). He trained and worked in academia at the Universities of Bern (Switzerland) and Liège (Belgium), where he completed a PhD on the use of dexmedetomidine for ultrasound-guided locoregional anaesthesia of the canine pelvic limb.
Since 2017 he has been working in private practice at the Medi-Vet SA clinic in Lausanne, where he oversees anaesthesia and supports the development of veterinary nurses and veterinarians. He leads the French-speaking VASTA school and also provides consultancy in private practice across Romandie.
He recently founded the Medi-Vet SA Research Institute to pursue his interest in clinical research, with a focus on patient comfort and ultrasound-guided locoregional anaesthesia in dogs and cats. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his two children.
